Town Road Tour

The annual Town Road Tour has been scheduled for Saturday, June 4th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. All town board members are expected to be on the tour and no actions will be taken on any town issue other than to gather information on road conditions. Any action resulting from this road tour will be made at the next regularly scheduled meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022. 

Board of Review Scheduled

Board of Review has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 4th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Town of Gull Lake Town Hall. Please see the entire notice posted under “Agendas & Minutes”. 

Spring Election

Vote Tuesday, April 5, 2022! Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Offices for election include COURT OF APPEALS JUDGE DISTRICT 3, WASHBURN COUNTY SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 3 and SPOONER AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD MEMBERS. 

Open Book and Board of Review Scheduled

Open Book has been scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm – this will take place remotely over the phone at this time. Board of Review has been scheduled at the town hall for Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 7 to 9 pm. 

Tax Time!

Tax statements, the annual tax letter and dog notices have been out since mid-December – if you have not yet received a notice please contact Lolita Olson, Town Clerk/Treasurer – email is best: [email protected] or text/cell at 715-558-2787 or home at 715-466-4665. The first half of tax (or payment in full) should be sent to the TOWN clerk/treasurer by no later than January 31st. The second half of taxes are due to the COUNTY TREASURER by July 31st – a notice will be sent by the county. 

Dog Licensing for 2022

Dog tags are available from the town clerk/treasurer for the new license year. Licenses expire December 31st of each year. Dogs are required to be vaccinated against rabies within 30 days after the dog is 4 months of age and a license needs to be applied for before they are 6 months old. A copy of the vaccination certificate is required when licensing your dog. Contact the town clerk/treasurer if you have a new dog or download the permit from the town website. 

Dog License Fees:    Neutered/spayed – $5.00; unneutered/unspayed – $10.00; multiple license is $50.00 up to 12 dogs plus $5.00/dog thereafter.
